Hackathon Cancelled

We reviewed our participation in the hackathon, and we were under 60 RSVPs. Pre-COVID, we had 100s of students interested in the PayPal version, but the dynamics seem to have changed - students have jobs, are not willing to devote 24 hours, focus on classwork, etc. At this time, we are canceling the event on Nov 5-6. We still believe in the value of having students give back to the community through events like the hackathon. We will continue to look for options for students through activities outside the classroom. We appreciate your support.
